Thirteen services covering planting, maintenance and hard landscaping across London gardens. Each job follows a fixed order of works, and prices below reflect typical scope for an average London plot.
Regular cutting to the height suited to your grass type, plus clean edging along paths and borders. Clippings are collected and removed, not left to smother the lawn underneath.
Shaping and reducing hedges to a defined line, removing cuttings on completion. Suitable for privet, beech and laurel hedges common across North London gardens.
Bed preparation, soil conditioning and planting of seasonal or perennial stock chosen for London's clay soils. Includes initial watering and a short care sheet for the first month.
Crown thinning and deadwood removal for ornamental and fruit trees up to 6 metres. Cuts follow standard pruning points to limit stress on the tree and support new growth next season.
Installation of drip lines or sprinkler heads connected to an existing outdoor tap, with a manual timer fitted. Layout is mapped to bed shape before any digging starts.
Removal of green waste, fallen branches and old plant material after a job or a general tidy-up. Waste is bagged on site and taken to a licensed local disposal point.
Sub-base preparation, edging and laying of paving slabs or gravel paths, with falls set for drainage. Includes pointing between slabs on standard patio jobs.
Supply and fitting of timber panels or trellis sections, including post concreting where ground conditions require it. Old fencing is removed as part of the same visit.
Spike aeration followed by a seasonal feed matched to soil test results. Recommended each spring and autumn to keep compacted London lawns draining properly.
Targeted treatment of weeds in beds and paving joints, plus inspection for common pests such as aphids and vine weevil. Products used are selected to limit harm to pollinators.
On-site assessment of layout, light and soil, followed by a sketch plan showing planting zones and hard landscaping options. Delivered as a plan you can act on in stages.
Autumn leaf clearance or spring bed reset, including cutting back dead growth and mulching exposed soil. Timed to suit each season rather than a fixed calendar date.
A scheduled visit plan combining mowing, weeding and pruning across the year, arranged around the eight areas of London we currently cover. Frequency is agreed at the first visit.
A selection of completed jobs across North and Central London, from small courtyard tidy-ups to full garden rebuilds. Out of 4,549 jobs finished since 2011, these six show the range of work our 18-person team handles week to week.
Lawn Care
A patchy, moss-heavy lawn behind a terraced house was scarified, aerated and reseeded over two visits. Edges were re-cut and a feed schedule set for the following six weeks to establish even growth before autumn.
Hedge Trimming
Overgrown privet hedges along three boundary lines were reduced by roughly 40cm and squared off. Clippings were collected and removed same day, leaving clean lines and better light reaching the beds below.
Planting Design
A bare front border was reworked with a mix of hardy perennials and low shrubs suited to a north-facing aspect. Soil was conditioned with composted bark before planting, and a repeat client since our first visit in 2023.
Patio & Paving
A moss-covered stone patio was jet washed, joints re-sanded and weeds cleared from between slabs. The job took a half day and included resealing two loose paving stones near the back door.
Tree Pruning
Two mature apple trees had their crowns thinned to improve airflow and reduce shading on the lawn beneath. Deadwood was removed and cuttings chipped on site for use as mulch elsewhere in the garden.
Garden Clearance
An overgrown rear plot was cleared of old shrubs, a rotten shed base and years of accumulated leaf litter. New turf was laid over levelled soil, completed across three days by a two-person crew.
